"You know what the say, a man will do anything if a pretty woman is really, really mean to him"

Above quote is from Coran in Voltron.
There is a hint of Autumn in the air, which should mean editing is easier, but alas, editing continues to be the worst part of writing for me. Tea helps though.
I have spent much of my time online looking up agents to whom I can submit my book to. Much of my time, so much, I have forgotten my plan to post here once a week. I have the best intentions of keeping up with social media but my best intentions often fall to the wayside. I now intend to do better, but with crisper weather coming in, I can feel the call to frolic and shoot arrows into the sunset as my hair blows in the wind.
As far as progress with Haphazard, I am pleased with how things are coming along. I am on the final chapters and fine tuning the plot, tightening things up. I could make faster progress if my laptop didn't feel the need to freeze every couple of minutes, but that just gives me more time to sip tea.
There is something enjoyable about visiting the Crew in book one after having completed the drafts of the other three books. It is as if I am seeing them as little babies, back int he days when they were happy before the deeper trauma sets in. (They start book one with trauma, but it just gets added too over the two year time span of the series. Book one is little t trauma, by book four they have Big T Trauma.)
All of that to say; editing is still my least favorite, but I can see some of the perks to it. If only it is going back and knowing things are only going to get worse for everyone. But also better. It is like that Harry Potter quote. "You're gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it."
