Haphazardly Implausible

Peter Jones was raised to be the ideal soldier. Growing up on the Scottish Air Force Base, he learned to fly at the age of twelve, four years younger than the minimum allowed age to even enter the base for basic training. Peter knew what was required of him as a soldier, to follow orders without question. But when he is framed for a crime he didn't commit and forced to face the firing squad he has the choice to sit back and take his fate or stand up and question everything he's ever been told.

Isidore Thaddeus Riechmann fell from glory. German's famed detective has locked himself in isolation after a defeat which ripped from him everything he ever locked. A new case soon changes his future and sends him on a hunt for not one missing person but two. Joined by the noble lady Nellie O'Malley, who has secrets of her own, Isidore finds himself in the most dangerous parts of London clutching the hope he will not fail again.

Singur has clung to the hope of life for four years, using any means possible to keep it alive. However, when that hope becomes a reality it comes at a high price and he begins to fear that his means of living cost the lives of thousands of others. Set adrift with a band of possible pirates, Singur confronts a past he spent his whole life trying to flee and a future he may have set on fire.

The world is at war and three young men from vastly different backgrounds and countries have the chance to save it. If only they can first escape their own pasts.

(This is a four book series. I am working on the final rough draft of book four as well as taking notes to tighten up the plot for the next rewrite drafts.)

Entangled Worlds

For a hundred years Ireland has lived in peace after having ended the last Faery War and banishing the Faye folk to the Faery Realm. With the human world and the realm separated and all the doors forever destroyed there arises no concern of any future invasion.

Keelan, a young Highwayman who spends his night terrorizing the roads and his days hiding in the forbidden forest, cares little for past wars or locked away realms. Aside from the nightmare he has every night and cannot recall in the morning, he could not ask for a better life - or so he tells himself.

Liam, Captain of the King's Calvary, would like nothing better than to see Keelan hanging from a noose. Not only is his life made difficult by the highwayman, but he struggles with his duties as being the youngest captain under the king's order as well as his dwindling respect from those around him.

Then, on a dark autumn night, everything changes when Keelan and Liam stumble upon the body of the king's son and heir to the throne, stabbed by a faye. In a desperate attempt to stop another war, the two find themselves in the Faery realm through a door which shouldn't have existed and are taken to the court of Morgan, the Autumn Faery King. Mysteries and questions arise as the three are forced to work together to solve an ancient riddle and stop a scheme which could tear both worlds apart.

The Broken Blade

Nightshade has been without a king for countless ages, since the last king died in battle without leaving an heir to the throne. The legendary sword he carried at his side broke in the final battle, and he left behind his final command that whoever found and reforged the blade would be made his heir.

Centuries have passed and the story has fallen into myth and legend. Ryder-Adair lives in a time of peace, where his greatest trial is getting through his school work, struggling to make sense of letters which take no form or shape to him. He has little cares for the affairs of the kingdom, run by lords who oversee each state.

BenArgon, blinded in the fire which took the life of his father, would have traded anything to be away from the bickering lords and the long political meetings he is forced to attend with his mother as he is trained to take his father's lordship title. He takes his enjoyment in annoying his tutor and body guard Trystan to make up for it.

Neither of the boys have met, but when a stranger with no memory of his past or name arrives in Ryder-Adair's village he sets in motion events which will change the kingdom of Nightshade, and the world, and unite a brotherhood which might be able to save them all.

(The Legend of the Blade series has five books. I am drafting the final of this as well, taking notes as I go so I can fix up the first drafts of the other books when i go back over them.)

Adventure into the Unknown! Series

This is a middle grade series I have been working on about a team of Archaeologists who get into all kinds of adventures and mishaps. It is part a history series, and part just a fun adventure. The number of books is currently unknown.

Four and Twenty Black Birds

Gilbert Baker's life is far from easy, but he does his best to scrape out a living while hiding in New York City from his haunted past. He longs to find peace someday, and until then adjusts to having

The Witches of 1503 Qui Peche Lane

There is a great burden and responsibility which comes with being gifted with magic - but Seraphina, Alchemy, Willow, and Phoebe do not let any of that burden weigh them down. In fact, they often forget they have any form of responsibility.

Graduating from the school for witches, they are set up to live in a cottage in France for a year, giving them the chance to adjust to life around those who are not gifted with magic while learning which professions they will take. Living together and working magic is not supposed to be hard, especially considering the four are best friends, but their main gift is excelling at causing mishaps.

In spite of their deep friendship, the four witches are as different as they can be; and as if the occasional character clashes weren't enough to cause trouble, there are the every day misfortunes to add to it.

Between summoning dragons to their village, blowing up cakes, releasing a ghost in the cottage, and getting Worts from kissing a toad, the year will not be easy - but it also will not be dull.
