"Well, I'm Home."

A proper title would be, "Well, I'm back."
Since my last post, a lot happened in life. And for the longest time I wondered if there was any point in continuing a blog/website for my writing. Thankfully, I realized it would be nice to have my own corner of the internet for my books. Therefore, I have returned.
I shall give a brief, overall update on life, then we can focus on writing and my plans for what is to come.
First, I got married. (No, you don't get to see pictures. The internet and I currently have trust issues and the fewer things I share about my personal life the happier I shall be. This is not to say I do not trust you, dear reader. It is the AI nonsense I do not trust.) However, I can say the wedding was small, lovely, and there was much dancing and happiness.
Second, I moved. Where? I shan't say, again, internet trust issues. But I love where I live, it feels like I have moved to the Shire and into a Hobbit Hole. My husband agrees and we plan to embrace the Hobbit life, only you know, with less parties because we both are quiet and like to avoid people as much as we can. (Also known as the Big Folk. Who are loud and everywhere. We prefer the company of our animal friends who come to visit us every day. Including a Hummingbird who comes to the window to say hi to me every morning. Okay, she doesn't actually come to say hi out of friendship, but because she knows I am the one who refills the feeder. I take friendship where I can get it.)
Third, I am nearing the end of my final edit of Haphazard Implausible before I send it to an editor. I am looking for an editor currently. And preparing a group of Beta Readers. (Have I mentioned that, out of the entire writing process, editing is my least favorite? The Bane of my Existence? Because it is. Let me write with wild abandon, not sit and stare at the order of words and wonder if they are in the correct place or if I need to move them.)
Forth, I am writing up the next draft of The Broken Blade. My dear Blade Boys were quiet for the longest time but now are speaking to me. Out of all the characters I've ever worked with they are by far the most difficult. Always acting mysterious and telling me little when it comes to necessary plot points. One would almost think they don't wish their story to be told. Except they do very much wish their story to be told.
Fifth, I have ideas for a new series and a new standalone book. Because the voices in my head refuse to give me a moment's peace. Not that I am complaining.
I now have no further updates. Unless you wish to hear about my raspberries, which I pick right from my garden, like the Hobbit I am becoming.
I plan to attempt a new post once a week. So please join me. There will be tea and little tea cookies. And if you ask nicely, I will share my raspberries.
